The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, Division II Division III and NAIA. Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on December 8.

With these two honors, the JHU women's soccer program has now seen 18 Academic All-American honors with all 18 coming since 2005. This is the sixth straight year with an Academic All-American for the program and the third time with multiple honors in one year. Hendricks is the first Blue Jay to earn first team honors since Toni Abate in 2018.

Hendricks has been named to the Academic All-District team three times in-a-row and earns her first ever Academic All-American honor. Last month, Hendricks was named to the All-Region V First Team and the Centennial Conference Second Team for her efforts in net. Leading the Blue Jays to an 11th Sweet Sixteen appearance, Hendricks compiled a record of 15-2-2 in between the pipes. She totaled 77 saves and allowed just 10 goals in the 2021 season. All-Time, Hendricks is one of just five Blue Jays to earn Academic All-District honors three times. She ranks in the top-five in career saves, shutouts, goals against average, save percentage and minutes played.

Hendricks is an undergraduate course assistant for Social Entrepreneurship and Research Associate at ARRWIP (Advocacy + Research on Reproductive Wellness of Incarcerated People). She is a volunteer for Students Consulting for Non-Profits as well as St. Joseph's Medical Center. She is the membership director for Phi Mu and is a member of Blue Jays LEAD.

Shea, a graduate transfer from Dartmouth, was a two-time First Team All-Ivy selection and earned United Soccer Coaches All-East honors in 2019. Last week, Shea was named a United Soccer Coaches All-American and also earned honors from the Conference and Region. She was an undergraduate researcher at Nautiyal Lab and a member of Patient Support Corps at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical. She was named the Kenneth Archibald Prize winner in 2021 as the graduate who is the best combination of athlete and student. For the Blue Jays, Shea started all 20 games and scored three goals while manning a crucial center back spot in the Jays defense. She led the team in minutes played and contributed to 12 shutouts in 2021.
