LANCASTER, Pa. -- Gettysburg swept the top awards to lead the 2020 All-Centennial Women's Swimming Team. Senior Kate Crilly was honored as the championship meet Most Outstanding Performer, freshman Talia Moss was named Rookie Outstanding Performer, and first-year head coach Greg Brown took home Coach of the Year laurels for the conference-champion Bullets.
The Bullets captured their first Centennial title since 2013 and conference-leading 15th overall this past weekend at Bullets Pool, compiling the third-most points in championship meet history (887.5). Crilly is the fifth Gettysburg swimmer to earn Most Outstanding Performer accolades, and first since Keira Heath in 2008. Crilly won the 50 and 100 freestyles individually and was part of three first-place relays (200 medley, 400 medley, 200 freestyle).
Moss is the first Bullet to win Rookie Outstanding Performer since the award was created in 2013. She took first in the 200 IM and 400 medley relay, and also secured silver in the 200 breaststroke and bronze in the 100 breaststroke.
Brown was selected as Coach of the Year following a Centennial Conference championship performance from his Bullets at his first championship. Gettysburg claimed 11 golds in the 18 events at the championship.
Gettysburg and Swarthmore each landed 11 swimmers of the All-Centennial team, while Dickinson earned two spots on the honorable mention list.
