GREENSBORO, N.C. - Swarthmore placed 23rd in the team standings as the 2023 NCAA Swimming & Divising Championships concluced Saturday in Greensboro. The Garnet tallied 28 team points to finish 23rd among the 36 teams that scored points.
Kate Hallamrk secured the top finish for the Garnet women on the fourth and final day of the meet, taking 18th in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:17.83 to narrowly miss out on All-America status.
Three Swarthmore individuals and two relays took home All-America honors throughout the championships with top-16 placings. Hallmark (500 freestyle), Sophie Rotival (100 breaststroke), and Quinn Weygandt (200 butterfly) earned All-America honorable mention honors individually, while the Garnet 400 medley relay and 200 medley relay squads also grabbed top-16 placings.
