Centennial Competitors Drop Opening-Round NCAA Matches

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The two singles players and one doubles team representing the Centennial Conference at the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships dropped their opening-round matches on Friday, concluding the 2022 campaign for CC women's tennis. 

In singles, Johns Hopkins' Anjali Devireddy fell to eighth-seeded Olivia Soffer of Babson 7-5, 7-5. Haverford's Abbey Russano lost to Sabrina Tang of Grinnell 6-4, 6-2. 

In doubles, the Swarthmore tandem of Nathalie Williams and Cyrstal Xu fell to second-seeded Shianna Guo and Sylwia Mikos of Chicago, 6-1, 6-2.
