Kadiri's Two Titles Lead Hopkins Women to Third Place;  Nine Earn All-America Nods

GENEVA, Ohio -- Johns Hopkins sophomore Victoria Kadiri won two individual national titles to headline a total of 10 All-America performances for Centennial Conference athletes at the 2022 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

In the team standings, the Johns Hopkins women placed third with 38 points to lead all CC teams. The Swarthmore women tied for 43rd with six points, Gettysburg women tied for 46th with five points, and Ursinus women tied for 58th with three points. On the men's side, Haverford tied for 56th with three points while Hopkins tied for 74th with one point. 

Loras (55 points) repeated as women's champions, while Wisconsin Eua Claire (73) ran away with the men's title. 

Kadiri led the way with an unprecedented two individual titles in the long jump and triple jump. The sophomore standout becomes just the fourth athlete in Centennial history to win individual gold at the NCAA outdoor championships, and the first to win multiple titles. Kadiri won the long jump at 6.03 meters and the triple jump at 12.43 meters, a new conference record. 

Joining Kadiri on the All-America stand for Hopkins were Ella Baran in the 5,000m (3rd; 16:20.49), Alex Ross in the 10,000m (3rd; 35:20.26), and Annie Gutierrez in the heptathlon (3rd; 5,069). 

Other All-Americans on the women's side included Swarthmore's Adria Retter in the discus (3rd; 44.90m) and Gettysburg's Holly Ferrera (4th; 43.07m) and Ursinus' Isabelle Deal in the javelin (6th; 41.76m). 

Two CC men collected All-America awards - Haverford's Jamie Moreland in the 1500m (6th; 3:48.64) and JHU's Matthew Su in the long jump (8th; 7.10m).
