LANCASTER, Pa. -- Johns Hopkins' Natalie Aston and Matt Troy and Gettysburg's Zanze Kuba-McCoy received top honors to lead the 2019 All-Centennial Volleyball Team. Aston and Troy were named Player and Coach of the Year, respectively, while Kuba-McCoy was selected as the conference's top rookie. 

Aston, a junior setter for the Blue Jays, becomes the sixth Player of the Year in program history for Hopkins, and third in the last four seasons. She is just the fourth setter to claim the prestigous conference award. The 2017 CC Rookie of the Year, Aston has now earned first-team accolades twice throughout her career (also in 2017). 

Kuba-McCoy is the first Gettysburg player to win Rookie of the Year in the eight-year history of the award. The freshman outside hitter was also named to the All-CC second team. 

Troy was selected by his peers as Coach of the Year after guiding the Blue Jays to a perfect 27-0 regular season. It marks Troy's second Coach of the Year honor, as he also received the award in 2011 during his previous stint at Hopkins. 

Louisa Kishton and Simone Bliss joined Aston on the first team for the Blue Jays. Kishton earned first team All-Centennial laurels for the third-straight season, and is now one of just 15 players in conference history to earn All-Centennial first team honors at least three times.

Bliss, Franklin & Marshall's Grace Maggiore, and McDaniel's Marlowe Embry collected the third all-conference awards of their careers, as each were first-teamers in 2018 and second-teamers in 2017. 

Swarthmore's Mehra den Braven concludes her career as a four-time all-conference honoree, twice being named to the second team (2019, 2016) and twice to the first team (2018, 2017). 

Franklin & Marshall has 36 first-team All-CC selections since 1993, while Gettysburg is second with 32. Johns Hopkins has 31 selections to the first unit, followed by Haverford (27), Swarthmore (17), Muhlenberg (14), McDaniel (12), Dickinson (4), Bryn Mawr (3), and Washington College (1).
