Aston helped the Blue Jays to a 4-0 week and was named MVP of the UMW Classic over the weekend. The junior setter opened the four-match week with a career-high 55 assists, 13 digs and a career-high-tying six blocks in a five-set win Tuesday night at Randolph-Macon. For the week, she notched averages of 11.20 assists and 2.33 digs per set while adding 12 blocks, 10 kills and eight service aces in wins over RMC, Virginia Wesleyan, Washington & Lee, and host Mary Washington. Aston's 11.44 assist-per-set average leads the Centennial Conference by more than two assists per set.
