Hopkins Volleyball Wins 61st Straight, Sets NCAA Division III Record

Johns Hopkins broke the NCAA Division III record for consecutive victories, winning a 61st straight game with a 3-0 sweep of Washington College. 

The 61 wins tops the previous record of 60 held by Central College (1998-2000). Hopkins now sits third all-time among all divisions and 14 wins behind Concordia-St. Paul for second-place inn terms of consecutive victories. 

Hopkins is now 26-0 on the season. In those 26 matches, 18 have been sweeps. The Blue Jays have gone to five sets just twice and have won 78 out of 88 total sets this season. 

Over the course of the record setting 61-match winning streak, Hopkins has produced 46 sweeps, gone to five sets just three times, and won 183 out of 201 sets played. 

During the streak, Johns Hopkins is 26-0 at home, 18-0 on the road and 17-0 in neutral site matchups. The Jays have lost just four sets in 26 home matches during the streak.
