Andrew Sterling, Dickinson

Dickinson 5, Elizabethtown 3
The Dickinson College baseball team scored four runs in the sixth inning, and held off a late rally attempt to defeat Elizabethtown, 5-3, on Wednesday afternoon. Senior Andrew Sterling (Houston, Texas/Episcopal) set the school record for hits in a season, recording his 58th of the year, going 3-for-4 on the day. He added an RBI and scored once to tie the season single mark in that category with 39. He stole a pair of bases as the Devils tied the single season record with a combined 77 thefts this spring.

Gettysburg 9, Juniata 4
Freshman Eric Hungerford threw a six-hit complete game and sophomore Al Posch went 4-for-6 as Gettysburg scored the final seven runs of the game to beat host Juniata College in a non-league baseball game Wednesday afternoon. The Bullets (22-11) trailed 4-2 after four innings of play before their big finish, which included a four-run sixth that made it 7-4. Gettysburg out-hit Juniata 14-6, with sophomore Austin Davis, freshman Cory Karagjozi, junior Pat Cody, and sophomore Patrick O'Grady collecting two hits apiece. Karagjozi and freshman Ben Roessle drove in two runs each while Posch also scored twice.

McDaniel 3, Messiah 0
McDaniel's four starting pitchers combined to shutout Messiah and the offense produced three runs in the sixth inning for a 3-0 non-conference baseball victory on Wednesday. James Chiorello (East Windsor, N.J./Lawrenceville Prep) had two hits and pitched the ninth inning to record his third save of the season for the Green Terror (20-10), who reached the 20-win mark for the first time in program history. Jimmy Najera (Fort Washington, Md./DeMatha) added two hits and an RBI. Zach Jones (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) pitched the first three innings with five strikeouts. Andrew Monger (Ellicott City, Md./Mt. Hebron) threw the next three with two strikeouts to earn the win.

Ursinus 6, Albright 2
Ursinus got all the offense it needed in the first inning on Wednesday afternoon against Albright as the Bears (17-18) put up six runs in the bottom of the frame in a 6-2 win over the Lions (12-24) in non-conference baseball action. The Bears got two hits each from senior shortstop Brandon Sullivan (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown) and junior designated hitter Kevin Wilson (Brunswick, Maine/Brunswick), while sophomore left fielder Josh Schnell (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown) had two RBI and a run scored.

Gettysburg 4, PSU-Harrisburg 2 (Tuesday)
The Bullets scored a pair of go-ahead runs in the bottom of the seventh and Gettysburg defeated Penn State-Harrisburg 4-2 in a non-conference baseball game Tuesday afternoon at Kirchhoff Field. Junior Pat Cody led Gettysburg (21-11) at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI while sophomore Nate Simon was 2-for-4 with an RBI-double that tied the game in the sixth. Sophomore Austin Davis also collected a pair of hits. Tossing three innings of relief, junior John Donovan earned the win, allowing just one run on three hits and three walks while striking out a pair. Sophomore Rob Stalzer worked two shutout innings while yielding only a pair of hits and fanning three to earn his first collegiate save.

Haverford 10, Alvernia 2 (Tuesday)
A 14-hit attack behind the starting pitching of Bryan Henrick combined to lead Haverford College to a 10-2 non-conference win Tuesday afternoon over host Alvernia University. Nick Miranda finished with a 3-for-4 day scoring twice, stealing two bases and driving home three runs. Alex Hudak was a perfect 4-for-4 and added a run, RBI and stolen base. Bryan Henrick (2-5) threw four solid innings for Haverford, allowing just one run on five hits and three walks while striking out three Crusaders. A trio of relievers, Brett Cohen, Max Gerard and Kevin Goff combined to scatter three hits over the final five innings, surrendering one run while fanning three.

Johns Hopkins 8, Mary Washington 4 (Tuesday)
The Johns Hopkins baseball team took a short break from a tight conference race to host non-conference opponent, Mary Washington Tuesday afternoon at the JHU Baseball Diamond. The Blue Jays cruised to a 8-4 victory behind stellar pitching of senior Sam Eagleson and timely hitting from junior Jeff Lynch. Lynch paced the Blue Jays at the plate with three hits, including a double and three RBI while Zakszeski went 3-for-4 with an RBI and run scored. Eagleson improved to 4-3 on the season with his solid performance on the mound. Eagleson went 6.1, giving up three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five.

Ursinus 6, PSU-Berks 0 (Tuesday)
The Ursinus College baseball pitching staff held PSU-Berks to just three hits as the Bears (16-18) blanked the Defenders (13-21) 6-0 on Tuesday. Senior pitcher Nate Schnell (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown), senior Steve Christakos (Rockville, Md./Walter Johnson), junior Jake Kohler (Maple Glen, Pa./Upper Dublin), freshman Alex Manacher (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) and sophomore Chris Ryder (Douglassville,Pa./Holy Name) combined on the shutout. All pitchers, save for Ryder, went two innings. Senior right fielder Garrett Smith (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesse) went 3-for-3 with four runs scored.

Wesley 8, Washington College 3 (Tuesday)
Host Wesley downed visiting Washington College, 8-3, on Tuesday night at Schutte Park in non-conference baseball action between the Delmarva schools.  The Wolverines improve to 27-12, while the Shoremen drop to 24-10. Scott Matthews went 2-for-4 with a run scored for the Shoremen.  WC had seven hits in the game.  On the mound, sophomore Tim Perrotta (Roseland, NJ/West Essex Regional) took the loss and drops to 1-1.

Rutgers-Camden 9, Swarthmore 5 (Monday)
A four-run eighth inning pushed  the Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors past the Swarthmore College baseball team by a score of 9-5 on Monday evening from Campbell's Park. Senior second baseman Anthony Montalbano, senior third baseman Mike Waterhouse, and junior leftfielder Sean Bryant (pictured) each picked up two hits to lead the Garnet attack. Bryant finished the contest with a triple, double and sac fly. Freshman starter Dylan Jeffers struggled through four and two thirds, allowing five runs on 11 hits.
