Baseball Player of the Week
Ryan Zwier, Jr., C, Washington College

Zwier 4-for-8 at the plate with a home run, two triples, two RBIs and 11 total bases in a Sunday for the Shoremen at the Bison Baseball Classic at Gallaudet. In a 16-6 win over Marymount in game one, he went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, a triple and home run as he missed the cycle by a double. Against host Gallaudet in game two, he went 1-for-3 with an RBI triple as his three-bagger gave Washington a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning. He also reached base via a hit-by-pitch in the game.
Baseball Pitcher of the Week

In his collegiate debut, Frankel allowed just one earned run over seven innings to pick up the victory in a 6-2 win over Gallaudet on Sunday at the Bison Baseball Classic. He allowed just five hits, walked three and struck out eight to help the Shoremen go 2-0 on Sunday. Frankel registered three 1-2-3 innings and retired the last eight Bison he faced.
