Dave Byrne of the (Lancaster) Sunday News writes that Franklin & Marshall's 34-2 defeat of Moravian was so complete, that the defense remembered to complement the offensive line in post-game interviews.

Pat Stoetzer of the Carroll County Times notes that McDaniel seemingly had its first victory of the season in hand as Dickinson trailed by 10 points midway through the final quarter. But the Red Devils came back, dealing a crushing blow to the Terror in a 38-31 overtime loss.

Daniel Paulling of the (Hanover) Evening Sun writes that physically, McDaniel did what it needed to do to win its first game of the season, but mentally, it was a different story in a 38-31 overtime loss to Dickinson.

Jim Wagner, writing for the (Pottstown) Mercury, notes that it was a record-breaking night for Ursinus in its 36-0 whitewashing of Susquehanna.
