Preseason Poll Projection: 7th

Outlook: The Bears struggled to a 2-8 campaign but hope that the experience gained in 2016 pays off this fall. Garlick had a strong rookie campaign as did Gardner in the backfield. Fortino is one of the top receivers in the Conference, while Nulty and Dalessandro comprise the nucleus of a strong offensive line. Anderson is the anchor in the defensive front, while Spingler looks to improve on an impressive first season at LB. The secondary is the strength of the defense with the return of Hidlay and Casseus. Ursinus has the talent for a winning season in 2017.
