Preseason Poll Projection: 9th
Outlook: The Greyhounds rebounded from a slow start to split its final four games. Erney had a strong rookie campaign and hopes for bigger things in 2018. Redmond is a veteran back, while Pierce and Tate provides a good target. Four starters return on the O-line, led by Poling and Barish. Six starters are back in the fold for the defense, including five seniors. Owen is the leader of the linebackers, while Zambelli - the Centennial Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2017 - anchors the secondary. Moravian's defense has surrendered over 400 yards a game in each of the last two seasons. The 'Hounds need to change that number for the better to make a move in the standings.
