Preseason Poll Projection: 4th

Outlook: The River Hawks won eight games for the first time since 2009 a year ago, capped by a victory in the Centennial-MAC Bowl series against Albright. Seventeen starters are back in the fold as Susquehanna looks for its first Centennial title. The offensive line will be a strength with six players back with starting experience, headed by Starace. Christian blossomed as a receiver last fall, while Carsley and McCoy will provide a new QB with solid targets. Five linebackers, led by Thompson, return in front of a new defensive line. Shelton is one of the top DBs in the region and teams with Brougham and Reyes on a secondary that allowed under 175 yards passing per game. Susquehanna runs the gauntlet with Hopkins, Muhlenberg and Franklin & Marshall right out of the gate. Early success could lead to a banner year in Selinsgrove.
