OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Paige Messersmith, McDaniel (Jr, M, Phoenix, Md. / Dulaney)

Messersmith notched a pair of game-winning goals this week for McDaniel, breaking a 2-all deadlock in a 3-2 win at Stevenson on Thursday before scoring the lone goal in a critical 1-0 victory over Haverford on Saturday.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Megan Feeg, Gettysburg (Jr, GK, Temple, Pa. / Oley Valley)

Feeg went 2-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average, a .846 save percentage and one shutout for Gettysburg last week. She made six saves in a 2-0 blanking of McDaniel, then turned aside give shots in a 3-2 victory over Muhlenberg.

CENTENNIAL NOTEBOOK

Senior Becky Willert (F, North East, Md. / Rising Sun) moved into fourth place on Franklin & Marshall's career goal-scoring list with a pair of goals in the No. 4 Diplomats' crucial 2-1 victory at Washington College on Saturday. She now has 42 career scores and leads the Centennial Conference in both points (50) and goals (23) this season.

Haverford's 2-1 overtime victory over No. 14 Christopher Newport on Sunday was its first victory over a nationally-ranked opponent during the 2011 season.

With its seventh win of the season against Muhlenberg, Swarthmore has reached its highest single-season and conference win total since 2006 which is also the last time the Garnet made the Centennial Conference playoffs.

After not scoring a regular-season goal against Ursinus since 2005, Washington College scored four during an epic conference battle on Wednesday which turned into a 5-4 victory for the Bears.
