Offensive Player of the Week 10/31/16

Erin Coverdale tallied a first-half hat trick on Wednesday in a 4-1 victory over Gettysburg. She then added an assist (working on fixing the box score, as it is not shown) in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Dickinson in the season regular-season finale.

Offensive Player of the Week 10/24/16

Amber Steigerwalt, Sr, F, Ursinus
Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South

Steigerwalt produced three goals and three assists in a pair of victories for the 8th-ranked Bears. The co-captain scored twice, including the go-ahead goal early in the second half of a 3-1 win at Washington College before coming back with a goal and a career-high three assists in Saturday's 5-1 victory against Dickinson. Steigerwalt ranks third in the CC in goals (14) and points (32).

Offensive Player of the Week 10/17/16

Gabrielle Yore, Jr, F, McDaniel
Olney, Md./Sherwood

Yore led the Green Terror to a 1-1 week. In Saturday's 6-3 win over Swarthmore, she tallied a career-best four goals. It was the most goals by a McDaniel player since 2003. With the eight points, she also became the Green Terror's all-time points leader with 99 career points.


Offensive Player of the Week 10/10/16

Rachel Strow, Sr, F, Muhlenberg
Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights

Strow scored nine points, broke one school record and tied another as Muhlenberg won two games to remain undefeated. She tied a school record with three assists and added a pair of goals in an 8-0 win vs. Bryn Mawr. Her goal against Washington was not only the lone score in a 1-0 win, but it also gave her a school-record 11 straight games scoring a goal.


Co-Offensive Players of the Week 10/3/16

Melanie Consiglio, Sr, F, F&M
Ramsey, N.J./Ramsey

Consiglio became just the eighth player in F&M history to score four or more goals in a game as she notched all four goals in Saturday's 4-0 victory over Bryn Mawr. Consiglio was efficient as well, needing just six shots to find the back of the cage four times.

 

Colleen Leahy, Sr, F, Ursinus
Centereach, N.Y./Centereach

Leahy produced 10 points during a 2-0 week for the Bears, accounting for half the team's scoring in Centennial Conference victories over Swarthmore (6-0) and McDaniel (6-2). Leahy finished with two goals and an assist in each contest and now leads Ursinus in goals (7) and points (17).

 

Offensive Player of the Week 9/26/16

 

Amber Dey, Jr, F, Dickinson
Flemington, N.J./South Hunterdon

Dey tallied three goals last week, leading the Red Devils to a pair of Centennial Conference wins and a 3-0 start in conference play. Dey struck once against Gettysburg and tallied a pair at Swarthmore on Saturday.

Offensive Player of the Week 9/19/16

   

Rachel Strow, Sr, F, Muhlenberg
Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights

Strow scored all five goals in a 2-0 week for the undefeated Mules. She netted two goals, including the winner with 6.4 seconds left in the first overtime, against King's, then recorded her first career hat trick in a 3-1 Centennial Conference win at McDaniel.

 

Co-Offensive Players of the Week 9/12/16

Paige Carson, Jr, M, Haverford
Denver, Colo./George Washington

Recorded a hat trick in 4-2 home win over Eastern, setting a new career high in points and assists. Tied for 9th biggest individual scoring outburst in Haverford history. 

 

  

Rachel Strow, Sr, F, Muhlenberg
Haddon Heights, N.J./Haddon Heights

Strow scored a career-high five points on two goals and an assist in the Mules' 4-0 win at Stockton. The two goals made her the first Muhlenberg player since 1992 to score a goal in each of the first three games of a season.

 

Offensive Player of the Week 9/6/16

Sydney Cole, Jr, Franklin & Marshall
Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich

Cole's clutch performance powered F&M to a dramatic 3-2 victory over No. 17 Rowan in double overtime on Saturday. The junior tallied her first score of the year in the 56th minute to tie the game at two before scoring the game-winner in the third minute of the second overtime period to give the Diplomats the victory. A Greenwich, Conn. native, Cole paced the F&M offense with nine shots and seven shots on goal as the Diplomats started the season 2-0.
