LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior goalie Haley Mowery (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Northern) was named the Centennial Conference Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Mowery allowed only one goal while making 15 total saves in a pair of victories last week. She turned in a season-high 14 saves as the Bullets defeated Stevenson University 4-1 on Sept. 26. The senior keeper stopped the only shot she saw on goal on the way to a 3-0 win over Bryn Mawr three days later. It was Mowery's first shutout of the season.
The weekly nod was the fourth of Mowery's career. She is in the midst of a career year with a personal-low GAA of 1.69 and a career-high save percentage of .823.
