Five-Star Matchups

Cross Country
It's the last big weekend prior to the Centennial championships in two weeks at Haverford. Meets include the Seven Sisters championship and Invitationals at Gettysburg, Princeton and UW-Oshkosh.

Field Hockey: Muhlenberg at Franklin & Marshall, 12:00
The Mules (9-2, 5-1 CC) and the Diplomats (12-1, 5-1 CC) meet for the 23rd time in a series that dates to 1989. F&M holds a 15-6-1 advantage and has a five-game win streak vs. 'Berg. Muhlenberg has not won in Lancaster since a 2-0 triumph in 2006. Both teams need a victory to keep pace with first-place Ursinus. The Diplomats' Maria Guarisco (pictured) leads the Centennial with 16 goals, scoring in 11 of 13 games this season. Muhlenberg keeper Sierra Lenker is third in the CC in goals-against average (1.01) and fourth in save percentage (.771).

Field Hockey: Dickinson at Washington College, 1:00
The Red Devils (10-3, 4-2 CC) and the Shorewomen (10-2, 3-2 CC) meet for the 26th time since 1990 with Washington College looking to extend its 14-11 series lead. Dickinson captured last year's meeting in Carlisle but has come up short in its last nine trips to Chestertown since a 2-1 win in 1995. Both teams need a victory in their quest for a playoff spot and a possible first-round bye. Catherine Perlmutter leads the Red and White in scoring (12-5-29), while Elizabeth Davis tops the WAC scoring chart (11-8-30). But the difference could come down to the keepers - Dickinson's Emily Fuss leads the Centennial in save percentage (.810) and Washington's Sadie Robertson (pictured) heads the goals-against list (0.89).

It is the 31st meeting between the Fords (16-7, 6-0 CC) and the Blue Jays (12-10, 3-2 CC) in a series that dates to 1987.
