Franklin & Marshall 67, Swarthmore 57

Georgio Milligan netted a game-high 21 points as No. 21 Franklin & Marshall defeated Swarthmore 67-57 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's basketball action. The Diplomats (19-4, 14-2 CC) earned the right to host CC playoffs with their ninth-straight victory. Mike Baker scored 10 points on 5-for-9 shooting.  James McNally and Brandon Beckford both finished with nine points apiece. Will Gates led the way for Swarthmore. Gates scored 19 points while Jordan Federer and Jordan Martinez finished with 12 and 11 points respectively.

 

Dickinson 68, Haverford 65

The Dickinson College men's basketball team held off a late rally by Haverford College to secure a spot in the Centennial Conference playoffs with a 68-65 win. The Red Devils add to their school record with their 11th win in conference play (11-5), improving to 13-10 overall. Adam Honig finished with 18 points, hitting four three-pointers. Dolan was just shy of a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. He was perfect from the line at 6-for-6, adding a pair of assists, two steals and two blocked shots. Ian Goldberg led Haverford (11-11, 8-8) with a game-high 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor. Sam Permutt added nine points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

 

McDaniel 68, Muhlenberg 54

Michael Jarboe netted 15 points, including hitting a season-best four 3-pointers, to lead McDaniel in a 68-54 Centennial Conference (CC) men's basketball victory over Muhlenberg on Saturday. Marcus Dyson added 12 points for the Green Terror (12-11, 9-7 CC), who snapped its three-game skid and moved into a position where the team will clinch a first-round bye in the CC tournament with two wins next week. McDaniel needs at least one win next week to assure itself a playoff spot in the five-team field. Kevin Hargrove led the Mules (12-11, 8-8 CC) with 16 points while Spencer Liddic added a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

 

Gettysburg 65, Washington College 57

Gettysburg's Ben Constable scored all 13 of his points in the second to help lead Gettysburg to a 65-57 win over host Washington College on Saturday afternoon at the Cain Athletic Center in Centennial Conference men's basketball action.  The Bullets improve to 12-11 overall and 9-7 in the conference, while the Shoremen fall to 7-16 and 6-10 respectively. Andrew Powers scored 15 points to lead all players in the win, while Derek Brooks added 11 points for Gettysburg. Kevin Breslin and Sal Schittino each scored 13 points to tie for the team best for Washington.

 

Ursinus 71, Johns Hopkins 55

Ursinus got 31 points from sophomore forward Jon Ward as the Bears (11-12, 8-8 Centennial) evened out their Centennial mark with a 71-55 win over Johns Hopkins (6-17, 4-12 Centennial) on Saturday. The Bears also got 12 points from senior guard Matt Hilton and 11 points from freshman point guard Jesse Krasna while pulling into at least a three-way tie with Muhlenberg and Haverford in the race for the fifth and final playoff spot with two games left. For Johns Hopkins, the Blue Jays got 12 points from senior John Alberici and 11 points from sophomore Mike Rhodes.
