Centennial Notebook

Swarthmore improved to 7-0 with a 90-60 road win at Penn State Abington. Junior F Chris Bourne (Monmouth Junction, N.J.) made 10-of-11 shots from the floor for 23 points, while freshman G Christian Rhodes (La Habra, Calif.) scored a career-high 14 points in 10 minutes of action. The Garnet shot a season-best 69.8 percent from the field.

Franklin & Marshall head coach Glenn Robinson picked up his 897th victory of his career as the Diplomats downed Albright, 69-63. He needs three victories to become the fourth NCAA coach to reach 900. Sophomore G Matthew Tate (Greenwich, Conn.) poured in a career-high 19 points for the Diplomats.

Gettysburg had four players score in double figures on its way to a 77-60 win at Messiah to improve to 6-1. Junior G Pete Christ (Pittstown, N.J.) led the way with 19 points, while senior F Kevin Gladstone (Havertown, Pa.) added 18 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. The Bullets have won six straight games – the longest streak since the 2008-09 squad won eight in a row. The 6-1 start is the best since the 2007-08 team opened the year at 8-1.

Dickinson sophomore F Justus Melton (Charlotte, N.C.) made 8-of-10 shots for 17 points in the 81-71 home loss to Catholic. He leads the Centennial in field goal percentage (73.9).

Sophomore G Tas Dixon (Ardmore, Pa.) scored a career-high 17 points in Washington College's 79-66 loss at Penn State Harrisburg. Senior Pat Morgan (Havertown, Pa.) needs three treys to become the 34th CC player to make 150 in a career.

Haverford defeated Summit, 71-39, for the Fords' largest margin of victory since a 93-52 decision against Ursinus during the 2011-12 season. Sophomore Walt Plumlee (Virginia Beach, Va.) led the way with 22 points.

McDaniel senior G Wes Brooks (North Wales, Pa.) drained a career-high six three-pointers – the most by a Green Terror in a single game since 2013 – for 20 points in the loss to Marymount. Brooks is second in scoring in the Centennial at 16.4 ppg.
