2019 Outlook

Preseason Prediction: 6th

The Mules have suffered through their longest playoff skein in program history, missing out on the last four Centennial tournaments. But that might turn around in 2019. Muhlenberg welcomes back three starters from a squad that showed flashes of brilliance, such as toppling #7 Swarthmore, but bewildered with a loss at McDaniel. Gnias developed into one of the top backcourt men in the Conference, averaging 13.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. Hughes blossomed into a top CC marksmen, knocking down 52 treys, while Duke provides depth. Morreale was having a standout rookie campaign before injury cut his season short at 8.4 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. Werheim is a veteran frontcourt presence and averaged 5.7 points per outing. Muhlenberg might have what it takes to make the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
