Men's Basketball Tournament Field Set

Men's Basketball Tournament Field Set

The Centennial Conference men's basketball championship will return to Baltimore for the first time since 2015 as Johns Hopkins clinched the No. 1 seed with a victory over Ursinus on Saturday night.

In the final game of the CC regular season, Hopkins (20-3, 16-2 CC) downed Ursinus 84-68 to secure the right to host the semifinals and championship of the CC Tournament. This will mark the fourth time the Blue Jays have hosted the Final Four at Goldfarb Gym (also in 2015, 2007 & 1998).

Swarthmore closed out the regular season with an 86-51 victory over Gettysburg. The Garnet (21-4, 15-3 CC) earned the No. 2 seed and will take on the third-seeded Bullets (15-9, 11-7 CC) again in Friday's semifinals. This will be the first time since 2016 that Swarthmore has not hosted the CC Final Four. Gettysburg qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2016.

Tuesday's first round game will feature No. 4 Dickinson (11-12, 10-8 CC) hosting No. 5 Ursinus (12-12, 9-9 CC) in Carlisle. The Red Devils defeated Haverford on the road in a de facto play-in game to secure a playoff spot for the first time since 2018. Despite falling to JHU on Saturday night, Ursinus secured the fifth and final playoff spot.

Hopkins will host the Dickinson/Ursinus winner in Friday's other semifinal.
