Christopher Gabriele placed first to lead Franklin & Marshall to the team title at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic Sunday afternoon. Gabriele took medalist honors with three-over 147 (74-73) at the two-day event. He is averaging a four-over 75.4 during the fall portion of the schedule.

Notebook:

The Muhlenberg men’s golf team picked up its second first-place trophy of the fall, outshooting local rivals Moravian and DeSales to win the John Makuvek Cup.

Froberg shot a 4-over-par 74, three strokes better than his previous career-low round, to help Muhlenberg to a second-place finish at the Muhlenberg Invitational. Froberg finished with a flourish, shooting a 33 and putting only 12 times on the back nine.

Brad Lankler placed first and led F&M to the team title at the PSU-Harrisburg Invitational. Lankler turned in a 146 with 72 in the first round and a 74 in round two on the par-72, 6,800-yard course.

 Englewood, N.J.

Eidman shot in the 70s in the first three rounds of his college career. He tied for fourth with a 4-over-par 76 to help Muhlenberg win the Moravian Invitational, and he followed that up with team-best rounds of 78 and 79 at the Guy W. Kuhn Invitational.
