MACUNGIE, Pa. -- Gettysburg overcame a 15-stroke deficit heading into the final round to claim its first Centennial Conference Men's Golf Championship since 2002 on Sunday at Brookside Country Club. The Bullets fired a tournament-best round of 295 during Sunday's final round, totaling 937 strokes throughout the 54-hole event. 

McDaniel took second place with 943 strokes, while Swarthmore was close behind in third place at 945. Franklin & Marshall placed fourth at 953, followed by Dickinson (968), Muhlenberg (1007) and Ursinus (1029). 

Gettysburg's team title marked the first for the Bullets since 2002 and fourth overall. 

In the individual standings, Gettyburg's Danny Harcourt and Dane Sethre-Hofstad placed first and second overall, respectively. Harcourt led from start to finish, posting scores of 73-79-73 for a three-day total of 225 to earn medalist and Player of the Year honors. Sethre-Hofstat (81-80-68) fired the low round of the tournament with a three-under par 68 on Sunday, earning him second place in the individual leaderboard. 

McDaniel's Chuck Csejka (79-79-74; 232) and Kevin Keane (78-79-75; 232), Franklin & Marshall's Jared Berlin (79-77-77; 233) and Swarthmore's Nick DiMaio (75-80-78) also carded top-five finishes. Berlin was named Rookie of the Year as the top first-year finisher in the 35-player field. 

Gettysburg will represent the Centennial Conference at the NCAA Division III Championships May 14-17 at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Ky.
