Play was suspended during the first round of the Centennial Conference men's golf championship on Friday because of inclement weather.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms swept through Brookside Country during the opening round, forcing tournament officials to issue an inclement weather warning and clear the course. Three groups were able to finish, with the low score of the eight finishers coming from Swarthmore's Nick DiMaio with four-over par 75.
First round play will resume on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The second round will tee off at 11:30 a.m., as scheduled.
