F&M Enters Final Round in 18th Place

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky.- After 54 holes at Keene Trace Golf Club, the Franklin & Marshall men's golf team currently sits in 18th place in the NCAA Championship. F&M carded 313 as a team Thursday morning to bring its overall score to 906 in the tournament.

Dylan Gallagher still leads the Diplomats on the individual leaderboard. After shooting a 79 on day three, Gallagher brings his tournament score to 221 – placing him tied for 38th. Shane Lawler carded an 80 in the third round to move into a tie for 72nd. Chris Dorey shot a team-low 75, while Jack Cooley tallied a 79 to tie each other in 79th. Dorey had nine pars and four birdies in the third round to match his second-round score of 75. Jas Fuhrer recorded an 80 in the third round to place him in 92nd.

Methodist University holds the lead in the team standings with an overall score of 864. Christopher Newport's Robb Kinder shot two-under par in round three to move himself into first place on the individual leaderboard at five-under par for the tournament.

Franklin & Marshall looks to make one final push as the final round of the NCAA Tournament begins on Friday. Fuhrer will be the first Diplomat to tee off tomorrow when he starts his round at 8:45 a.m. Dorey (8:54 a.m.), Cooley (9:03 a.m.), Lawler (9:12 a.m.), and Gallagher (9:21 a.m.) will follow in that order.
