Hickok turned aside five shots to record the shutout on the road as the Red Devils handed Johns Hopkins its first Conference loss of the season, 3-0.
CENTENNIAL NOTEBOOK
For the first time in at least 17 tries, Ursinus knocked off a nationally ranked opponent, as the Bears shocked #9 Swarthmore, 2-1. The Conference began recording records vs. ranked foes beginning with the 2002 season.
Haverford is now 4-0-1 in front of sophomore GK Nick Kahn (Dunwoody, GA / Dunwoody), who made two saves in the 1-0 shutout win at Gettysburg. Senior David Restrepo (Houston, TX / St. Thomas) scored the lone goal and leads the Fords in scoring with 4-1-9.
Washington College senior GK Chris Phipps (Newark, DE / St. Mark's) moved into third place on the Conference career save list after a 15-save effort vs. McDaniel. He now has 427 career stops and is 11 shy of the No. 2 position held by Dickinson's Aaron Stemplewicz '06.
Swarthmore senior GK David D'Annunzio (Piedmont, CA / Piedmont) is third on the Centennial career shutout list with 27. He trails Hopkins' Gary Kane Jr. '05 (34) and Gettysburg's Jon Katerba '99 (28).
Dickinson junior Shepherd Waldenberger (Madison, VA / Madison County) scored a goal and assisted on another in the Devils' 3-0 win at Johns Hopkins.
McDaniel's "McConnection" powered the Green Terror to its first Centennial win of the year, as Shane McCracken (Marriottsville, MD / Liberty) and Michael McClain (Takoma Park, MD / Montgomery Blair) scored the goals. Zach Nibbelink (Hampstead, MD / North Carroll) made six saves for the shutout.
A pair of Lancaster Countians led Muhlenberg to a 2-1 victory against Franklin & Marshall. Josh Luginbuhl (Denver, PA / Cocalico), who grew up about 20 minutes from the F&M campus, scored the first goal, while Danny Way (Lancaster, PA / Manheim Twp.), who went to high school just five miles from campus, tallied what proved to be the game-winner.
