Dickinson

The Dickinson men's soccer team earned an at-large bid to the 2012 NCAA Division III Tournament, making its second straight appearance and fourth in program history. The Red Devils (12-4-2) will host Westfield State University (9-9-2) in a First Round match-up at Dickinson's Miller Field on Thursday night at 6:00 pm. The Red Devils make their second straight appearance after capturing the Centennial Conference title in 2011. They traveled to New Jersey last season and posted a first round win over Vassar College before suffering a second round setback to host Montclair State. Dickinson earned back-to-back NCAA Tournament bids in 2008 and 2009.

Haverford

The Haverford College men's soccer team learned it will face Wesleyan (Conn.) University in the first round of the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship when the brackets were revealed Monday afternoon. The Fords (12-7) were an automatic qualifier by virtue of winning the Centennial Conference while the Cardinals (9-4-3) earned an at-large bid to qualify for their fifth tournament in the last eight seasons. Wesleyan (9-4-3), coached by Geoff Wheeler in his 15th year, opened the season with just one loss in its first 10 contests (7-1-2) before falling three times in its final six games including a 1-0 loss to second-ranked Amherst College in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) semifinals. The first- and second-round games, hosted by fifth-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology (16-2-1), will take place at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pa., on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10-11. Haverford's match-up against Wesleyan is set for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. following Stevens' 5 p.m. contest against 23rd-ranked Methodist (N.C.) University (15-2-3). Saturday's winners will meet up in the NCAA championship tournament's second round, Sunday at 5 p.m. at Arcadia.

Swarthmore

The No. 9/10 Swarthmore College men's soccer team (14-2-2) has received an at-large berth to the 2012 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament and will serve as a first and second round host, the selection committee announced on Monday afternoon. In first round action, the Garnet will square off against Albertus Magnus (15-3-3), champions of the GNAC, on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 5:00 p.m. from the College's Clothier Field Stadium. In the other first round contest from the College,  RPI (9-5-6) - champions of the Liberty League - will face Christopher Newport (15-3-2) - an at-large selection from the USA South - at 7:30 p.m. The NCAA Division III Championship Tournament second round match-up between the two first-round winners will take place on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 5:00 p.m.
