Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 400-403-64
Centennial Titles: 1 (2011)

Key Returnees: Javier Mena, Jr, F, 8-9-25, 1st team All-CC; Cody Hickok, Sr, GK, 83.6 sv%, 6 ShO, Honorable Mention All-CC; Derek Kachadurian, Jr, F, 4-4-12; Chris Schulz, Jr, M, 4-0-8; Shepherd Waldenberger, Sr, M, 2-2-6; Aidan Gaughran, Sr, B, 1-0-2.
Key Losses: Taylor Ferry, D, 2-0-4, 1st team All-CC.
Preseason Poll Projection: 1st
Outlook: The defending Centennial champs are poised to make a run at back-to-back titles. Mena is one of the top players in the Conference, while Hickok is one of the top 'keepers in the CC. Kachadurian, Nicolas Tierno and Chris Schulz add to a potent offense, while Gaughran is the leader of the defense. Replacing Ferry won't be easy, but the Devils could return to the Centennial final once again in 2012.

Franklin & Marshall (10-5-3 in 2011, 5-3-1 CC, lost to Haverford in CC 1st round, 3-2)
Head Coach: Dan Wagner (Messiah '96), 11th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 511-466-95 since 1926
Centennial Titles: 0

Key Returnees: Ben Beaver, Jr, F, 13-1-27, 1st team All-CC; Mike Irving, Sr, M, 2-3-7, 2nd team All-CC; Preston Kilgore, Jr, B, 0-1-1, Honorable Mention All-CC; Sam Lane, Soph, F, 4-6-14; T.J. White, Soph. GK, 87.5 sv%, 4 ShO.
Key Losses: Eric Elicker, M, 2-2-6; Rob Hassler, B, 0-0-0.
Preseason Poll Projection: 4th
Outlook: The Diplomats are positioned for a run at the Conference crown in 2012. Beaver is one of the top goal scorers in the region and teams with Lane for a potent 1-2 combination. Irving controls the midfield, while Kilgore leads the backline in front of White. The graduation losses will be difficult to overcome, but F&M is poised for a deep playoff run this fall.

Gettysburg (7-8-1 in 2011, 4-4-1 CC, 7th place)
Head Coach: Brett Kelly (Gettysburg '03), 2nd season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 519-473-100 since 1930
Centennial Titles: 3 (1993-99-2001)

Key Returnees: Tyler Shaffer, Jr, M, 3-3-9, 2nd team All-CC; Craig Heckman, Sr, B, 0-1-1, 2nd team All-CC; Devin Geiman, Jr, M, 2-1-5; Andrew LaFontaine, Jr, B, 0-3-3; Connor Darrell, Jr, GK, 77.8 sv%, 4 ShO.
Key Losses: Eric Hynes, F, 6-0-12, 2nd team All-CC; Kyle DeBlois, M, 0-3-3.
Preseason Poll Projection: T-6th
Outlook: The Bullets missed out on the Centennial postseason but has the talent to return to the tournament in 2012. Shaffer and Geiman control the midfield in front of Heckman and LaFontaine. Darrell had a strong season in goal and should only get better. Gettysburg needs to find a scorer if its season will extend into November.

Haverford (11-6-2 in 2011, 5-4 CC, lost to Dickinson in PKs in Centennial final)
Head Coach: Shane Rineer (Eastern '06), 2nd season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 750-556-141 since 1901
Centennial Titles: 0

Key Returnees: Matt Gorski, Sr, M, 3-4-10, 1st team All-CC; Jamie Reingruber, Jr, B, 1-1-3, 2nd team All-CC; Colin Lubelczyk, Jr, M, 1-2-4; David Robinson, Jr, M, 2-4-8; Adam Morollo, Jr, B, 1-0-2; Nick Kahn, Jr, GK, 78.0 sv%, 3 ShO.
Key Losses: Alejandro Rettig y Martinez, F, 8-0-16, 2nd team All-CC.
Preseason Poll Projection: 5th
Outlook: The Cinderella Fords ended the 2011 season on a nine-game unbeaten streak and fell just short of the Centennial crown and a trip to the NCAAs. The backbone of that unit is nearly back intact as a return run to the final is certainly within reach. Gorski and Robinson comprise a talented midfield duo, while Morollo and Reingruber head a strong defense in front of Kahn. Can Haverford find a finisher? The answer to that question may also be the answer to the 2012 season.

Johns Hopkins (10-5-3 in 2011, 7-1-1 CC, lost to Haverford in Centennial semifinals, 2-1)
Head Coach: Craig Appleby (Charlotte '94), 5th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 609-365-92 since 1935
Centennial Titles: 8 (1996-98-2000-02-04-06-07-09)

Key Returnees: Rob Heuler, Soph, M, 2-3-7, 2nd team All-CC;  Nick Cerrone, Soph, GK, 81.1 sv%, 8 ShO, Honorable Mention All-CC; Kotaro Mitsuhashi, Soph, M, 2-1-5.
Key Losses: Sean Coleman, F, 7-5-19, 1st team All-CC; Corey Adams, Sr, B, 1-2-4, CC Player of the Year; Sean Duggan, M, 0-2-2, Honorable Mention All-CC; Drew Holland, Sr, B, 0-0-0.
Preseason Poll Projection: 2nd
Outlook: The Blue Jays were shocked at home in the Centennial semifinals by Haverford last season and graduation losses decimated the offense and defense. Heuler is the headliner at midfield, while Cerrone had an excellent rookie campaign in goal. Mitsuhashi will have to pick up some of the offensive slack, respectively, if JHU wants to return to the Conference final four.

McDaniel (4-11-2 in 2011, 1-8 CC, 10th place)
Head Coach: Jim Reigel (Towson '96), 6th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 464-546-100 since 1924
Centennial Titles: 0

Key Returnees: Michael McClain, Sr, M, 3-1-7; Richard Forka, Soph, B, 0-0-0; Edgar Escobar, Soph, B, 0-3-3; Shane McCracken, Soph, F, 5-0-10; Matthew Gillen, Sr, B, 3-1-7; Zach Nibbelink, Jr, GK, 75.3 sv%, 1 ShO
Key Losses: Micah Powell, F, 0-0-0.
Preseason Poll Projection: T-9th
Outlook: The Green Terror has not had a winning season since 2005 but has the nucleus to change that this fall. McCracken was the team's leading scorer as a rookie, while McClain and Gillen provide offensive support. Forka and Escobar headline the defense in front of Nibbelink. Another goal-scoring threat may be needed for McDaniel to make a playoff run.

Muhlenberg (10-6-1 in 2011, 6-3 CC, lost to Dickinson in Centennial semifinals, 2-0)
Head Coach: Sean Topping (Muhlenberg '98), 11th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 559-375-83 since 1943
Centennial Titles: 5 (1994-95-97-2003-05)

Key Returnees: Danny Way, Sr, F, 7-1-15, 1st team All-CC; Nate Squire, Sr, M, 5-1-11, 1st team All-CC; Kyle Plifka, Sr, B, 1-0-2, 1st team All-CC; Cody Antonini, Sr, M, 16-7-39, 2010 CC Player of the Year (DNP 2011); Jas Chojnowski, Jr, GK, 84.9 sv%, 1 ShO; Ari Nutovits, Sr, GK, 81.8 sv%, 5 ShO.
Key Losses: Josh Luginbuhl, M, Honorable Mention All-CC, 5-1-11.
Preseason Poll Projection: 3rd
Outlook: The Mules were ousted from the Centennial playoffs in the semis by eventual champion Dickinson. But the 2012 edition of 'Berg soccer has the makings of a Conference champion. Start with three returning first-team All-CC performers in Way, Squire and Plifka. Add to that the return of 2009 CC Player of the Year Antonini and this year's squad is loaded. A pair of 'keepers are experienced and ready to go and makes the Mules one of the favorites to capture the Centennial title.

Swarthmore (13-6-1 in 2011, 5-4 CC, T-5th place)
Head Coach: Eric Wagner (Connecticut College '88), 11th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 489-430-80 since 1917
Centennial Titles: 2 (2008-10)

Key Returnees: Noah Sterngold, Jr, B, 1-0-2, 2nd team All-CC; John Pontillo, Sr, B, 3-0-6; Jack Momeyer, Jr, M, 5-0-10.
Key Losses: Micah Rose, M, 5-3-13, 1st team All-CC; Fabian Castro, F, 7-6-20, 2nd team All-CC; David Sterngold, F, 7-2-16, 2nd team All-CC; David D'Annunzio, GK, 77.0 sv%, 8 ShO, 2nd team All-CC; Kieran Reichert, M, 3-4-10, Honorable Mention All-CC;Roberto Contreras, M, 1-3-5; Pierre Dyer, B, 1-0-2.
Preseason Poll Projection: T-6th
Outlook: The Garnet failed to make the Conference playoffs a year ago after winning the Centennial title in 2010. Graduation took its toll on Swarthmore who will need to find replacements for a number of four-year starters to return to the CC tournament. Momeyer is the leaders of the offense, while Pontillo and Sterngold hold the line on defense in front of a new 'keeper. There are a lot of holes, but don't discount the Garnet come playoff time.

Ursinus (3-12-3 in 2011, 2-6-1 CC, 8th place)
Head Coach: Kyle Rush (Wilkes '02), 6th season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 105-219-18 (1993-2011)
Centennial Titles: 0

Key Returnees: Ricky Griffith, Jr, F, 3-2-8; Josh Howell, Sr, M, 0-0-0; Colin Kunkle, Sr, B, 0-1-1.
Key Losses: Mike Alfieri, GK, 74.7 sv%, 2 ShO, 1st team All-CC; Chris Polster, F, 4-0-8; Mike Cohen, B, 1-0-2.
Preseason Poll Projection: 8th
Outlook: The Bears have not finished in the top five in the Conference's history. That is the goal for the 2012 edition of UC soccer. Griffith is the top offensive threat, while Howell holds down the midfield. Kunkle is the leader of the defense, while a new 'keeper must be found in camp. It's baby steps in Collegeville as the Bears look to a new day.

Washington College (3-11-2 in 2011, 1-7-1 CC, 9th place)
Head Coach: Roy Dunshee (South Carolina '83), 1st season
Team Page | Roster | Schedule | 2011 Statistics
All-Time Record: 426-432-77 since 1946
Centennial Titles: 0

Key Returnees: Justin Geho, Sr, B, 1-0-2, Honorable Mention All-CC; Bob Libera, Soph, M, 0-1-1; Matt Wilfong, Soph, M, 1-3-5; Tim Marcin, Sr, B, 2-1-5; Ryan Duffy, Sr, B, 2-0-4.
Key Losses: Jordan Haas, F, 5-1-11; Colin Kidwell, B, 0-0-0; Chris Phipps, GK, 80.5 sv%, 3 ShO.
Preseason Poll Projection: T-9th
Outlook: A new day is dawning in Chestertown as Dunshee takes over the helm of the Shoremen. WAC has not threatened to make the Conference tournament since 2003 but has some pieces returning to make some noise this fall. Finding a keeper to replace Phipps is key as is finding a scorer. A new coach, a new system could mean a challenging 2012 campaign.
