LANCASTER, Pa. – A second-half goal from Chris Scott broke a scoreless contest and delivered the No. 15 Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team a 1-0 shutout of Johnson & Wales on Saturday evening in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The win propelled the Diplomats (16-1-2) into tomorrow's second round matchup against Rochester at Tylus Field, beginning at 5:00 p.m. F&M goalkeeper Trevor Britton (16-1-2) was spectacular in net, stopping four shots and coming up with a number of key plays throughout the contest. Box Score

Norton, Mass. – The Dickinson men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 first-round setback to Tufts University in the NCAA Division III Championship on Saturday afternoon.  The Jumbos struck first, scoring in the 61st minute. Gus Santos sent a cross into the box and Connor Brown was on the back-end to put Tufts on the board with a header into the net. The Red Devils quickly responded, netting the equalizer, just four minutes later. Junior Alfred Hylton-Dei (Geneva, Switzerland/Mercersburg Academy, Pa.) collected a rebounded save off a shot from classmate Isaac Pitkow (Jenkintown, Pa./Abington) to pull the Devils even. Santos came up big for Tufts again, breaking free in the 79th minute and scoring off a beautifully fed ball from Sam Williams.
