Tuesday afternoon's 7-2 non-conference victory over the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia gave host Haverford College's men's tennis team its sixth straight win after opening the season with four losses. The Fords (6-4), ranked eighth in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Atlantic South Division III region poll, downed the D-II Devils (5-6) on Haverford's Bramall Courts under summer-like weather. Haverford got off to a strong start, winning all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead into singles play.
