Men’s Track Athlete of the Week 3/26/18

Ty Abdul-Karim, Sr., Gettysburg

Competing in his first track meet in over three years, Abdul-Karim swept the 100- and 200-meter dash at the Little Meet. He was timed at 11.26 in the 100 while beating out eight other competitors, and he bested a field of 17 in the 200 with his time of 23.04. In addition, Abdul-Karim anchored the 4x100-meter relay team that placed second. His efforts helped the Bullets beat Franklin & Marshall and finish just five points behind Dickinson for the title.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week 3/26/18

Devin Glasson, Sr., Dickinson

Glasson turned in a pair of strong performances on Saturday to lead the Red Devils to the Little Three Championship. The senior won the discus with a throw of 43.49 meters and placed second in the shot put with a distance of 14.12 meters.
