The Blue Jays' best season in seven years came to an end at the hands of No. 11 Christopher Newport in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Senior Lyndsay Burton (Long Valley, NJ / West Morris Central) posted the 27th double-double of her career with 14 points and 10 rebounds. She poured in a career-best 31 points in the first-round win vs. Richard Stockton, tying the JHU single-game NCAA scoring mark. Junior Chantel Mattiola (Trappe, PA / Perkiomen Valley) made the 100th three-pointer of her career in the loss to CNU.

Muhlenberg

The Mules advanced to their second Sweet 16 in three seasons with thrilling wins over Williams and Rochester. Junior Alexandra Chili (Rockville, MD / Walter Johnson) drained a fadeaway three-pointer with 1.0 remaining to beat the Ephs in the first round. She finished with 24 points, while senior Kelly McKeon (Watertown, CT / Holy Cross) had 13 points and 13 rebounds. Muhlenberg stormed back from a 17-point halftime deficit to defeat the No. 13 Yellow Jackets on their homecourt. McKeon scored 18 of her game-high 26 points in the second half and added 11 rebounds and three assists. Chili tallied 24 for the second straight night and is now third on the Mules' career scoring list with 1,490 points in just three seasons. Muhlenberg faces the highest-ranked opponent it has met in at least a decade - No. 2 Amherst - on the Lord Jeffs' home floor on Friday.
