2013 Outlook

The 2011-12 Haverford Women's Basketball team made their first appearance in the Centennial Conference tournament in program history and will look to be a Centennial Conference title contender this season. The Fords return all five starters, including senior Dominque Meeks who earned Centennial Conference second team for her 12.6 points per game, 7.1 rebounds per game and 65 steals on the season. Meeks is joined in the frontcourt by fellow classmate Victoria Sobocinski and sophomore Elizabeth Lynch. In the backcourt for the Fords is senior Calla Miller, junior Rachel Baskin, and sophomore Jacquelyn Pizzuot. The Fords will also see the return of junior Nina Voith to the roster after sitting out last season with an injury. Voith is a two-time Second-Team All-Centennial Conference honoree and led her team with 15.9 points per game in the 2010-11 season.

The 1,200 seat Calvin Gooding '84 Arena opened in October 2005. It features three full wood-floor courts for basketball and volleyball that includes two courts across the main playing floor and the Kannerstein Pavilion which is a full-length court that allows for multiple teams to practice in the arena at the same time.
