McDaniel went on a 13-4 run early in the second half to take a
50-42 lead and left Swarthmore with a 66-52 Centennial Conference (CC)
women's basketball victory on Monday. Steph
Perez (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East) led a
balanced attack for the Green Terror (10-12, 7-10 CC), who had all
five starters net nine or more points. Perez finished with 13
while Rachael
Rybak (Reisterstown, Md./Franklin) and Brittney
Davis (Laurel, Md./St. Vincent Pallotti) added 12 points
each. Emma
Wingerd (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) and Codi
McMaster(Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) tallied nine each.
Wingerd added 10 rebounds as part of a 42-35 advantage on the
glass.
Haverford 69, Bryn Mawr 40
The Haverford College women's basketball team used a
balanced attack to take down host Bryn Mawr College, 69-40, on
Monday night at Class of 1958 Gymnasium in Centennial Conference
action. Voith paced the Fords with a
season-high 14 points but she had a deep
supporting cast as Rachel
Baskin andJacquelyne
Pizzuto chipped in with 10 points apiece.Dominique
Meeks added nine points and three steals while Shannon
Smith matched her career high with eight points to go
along with a game-high three blocks.
