LANCASTER, Pa. - Gettysburg won its ninth straight Centennial Conference women's golf title on Sunday at Conestoga Country Club.

The Bullets posted a 36-hole team score of 694 to top second place Marymount (719) by 25 shots. Dickinson (733) claimed third place, narrowly edging Muhlenberg (734) by just one stroke. Ursinus came in fifth with a score of 846.

Muhlenberg senior Aine Filler was named Player of the Year after capturing medalist honors with a two-day total of 83-79-162. She won the event by two strokes over Gettysburg junior Skylar Frankiewicz (164). Marymount's Alessandra Bertacche came in third place at 169. Gettysburg's Hannah Fireman scored 173 for fourth followed by Ursinus' Emily McGarrigle in fifth (174). The top five finishers are named first-team All-Conference.

Marymount's Denise Isabel Trojillo was named Rookie of the Year for posting the best finish among first-years. She carded a 87-94-181.

 

Aine Filler, Muhlenberg
