Kronick Highlights Conference Postseason Honorees

Sophomore Hannah Kronick has been named to the 2012 D3soccer.com Women's All-America Third Team as voted on by D3soccer.com staff, Division III soccer coaches and sports information directors from a field of over 600 nominations. This is the second All-America honor of the season for Kronick, who was named NSCAA Third Team All-America on December 4. She is the fourth player in program history to earn D3soccer.com All-America since it began in 2010, including Erica Suter (First Team - 2011), Jessica Hnatiuk (Second Team - 2011) and Jenn Paulucci. Kronick had a record-breaking season for the Blue Jays in 2012, setting program single-season marks for goals (24) and points (57). She also set the Hopkins mark for career and single-season hat tricks with five in 2012. The sophomore currently ranks second in program history in assists (19), tied for second in points (105) and third in goals (43) through just 45 career games. In addition to earning All-America, Kronick has collected a bevy of other postseason accolades, including ECAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region and Centennial Conference Player of the Year.

Dickinson College senior Marissa Kunkle (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) made her third appearance on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Mid-Atlantic Region Women's Soccer Team. Kunkle was a First-team selection on defense, after earning Second-team recognition in both 2010 and 2011. Kunkle was also a three-time All-Centennial Conference selection, earning First-team honors in both 2011 and 2012, after receiving Second-team honors in 2010. 

Junior Rachel West and senior Lindsey Lyons of the Gettysburg College women's soccer team were named to the NCAA Division III All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). West was named to the second team as a midfielder, while Lyons earned third-team recognition in the midfield. They are Gettysburg's first all-region selections since 2006.

Allie Chen and Meg Boyer of the Haverford women's soccer team have been selected for the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division III 2012 All-Mid-Atlantic Region women's soccer team, as released by the organization Wednesday afternoon. Both Boyer, a first-team all-region selectee, and Chen (third-team) were named first-team All-Centennial Conference performers earlier this postseason, and each player is a two-time member of the conference's academic honor roll.

Christina Convey and Hannah Kronick have been selected to the 2012 NCAA Division III All-Mid-Atlantic Region team according the NSCAA. Kronick was named to the first team, while Convey earned second team. The selection continues a streak of nine consecutive years in which at least two Hopkins players have received all-region honors. Kronick is the fourth player in program history to earn all-region honors as a freshman and sophomore.

Muhlenberg soccer player CJ Graetzer was selected to the All-Mid-Atlantic Region team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Graetzer, a third-team pick, is the first all-region selection for the Muhlenberg women's team since 2009 and the first non-senior so honored since 2003.

Junior Megan Brock and sophomore Ellen Bachmanhuff of the Swarthmore College women's soccer team have been named to the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team, the organization announced on Wednesday. Brock is a first-team selection while Bachmanhuff made the second team. Both are all-region selections for the first time in their careers. They are the 12th and 13th women's soccer student-athletes to receive all-region accolades since 2006.
