Outlook: Bryn Mawr takes on new leadership with the hiring of Coach Pat McDevitt. The Owls did not lose any athletes to graduation. Senior Lillian Oyen-Ustad and junior Varuna Jasodanand will strengthen the lineup as the team looks to improve.

Outlook: Dickinson returns its key performer, 1st Team All-Centennial senior Olivia Lyman. With just two losses to graduation, Dickinson has potential to advance in the Conference Championship standings come February.

Outlook: Franklin & Marshall finished fourth at the Conference Championship last season. Eight freshmen join the team and can likely make an immediate impact. This historically consistent program will look to capture a top three finish in 2019.

Outlook: The Bullets turned in a 7-3 record, 5-2 conference record, in 2018, continuing their streak of seasons without a losing record in duals. Gettysburg finished third at the Conference Championship last season and is likely to capture a top-three spot again this year. The team returns five All-Conference Honorable Mention swimmers: Kate Crilly, Lindsay Hayden, Johnna Hock, Sydney Jaramillo, and Sadie Stiles.

McDaniel (5-6 last season, 1-6 CC, 7th at CC Championship)

Outlook: McDaniel lost half of its roster to graduation, returning just six swimmers from the 2018 campaign. The Green Terror will need a strong incoming class to make up for some key losses.

Preseason Poll Projection: 3rd
Outlook: Swarthmore took second-place at the 2018 Conference Championship, marking the team’s best finish since 2008. Four of their five All-Conference Honorable Mention swimmers from last year, Scout Clark, Clare Cushing, Hannah Kloetzer, and Sophia Lee, return this winter. The Garnet will be in contention for the 2019 title.

Outlook: The Bears won their fifth straight Centennial Conference title in 2018 and may very well extend that streak to six in 2019. Six of the eight women on the 1st Team All-Centennial team were from Ursinus, four of whom return this season. Sophie May enters her sophomore year after earning Outstanding Rookie Performer honors.


 
Julia Portmann, Washington College

Outlook: Washington College looks to advance in the standings after finishing fifth in the 2018 Championship meet. Two of their five All-Conference swimmers will return this season. Seniors Julia Portmann and Anna Schmittle will lead the team as nine newcomers join the squad.
