Rotival & Karpenko Earn All-America Honors on Day Three

GREENSBORO, NC - Swarthmore's Sophie Rotival and Andrew Karpenko each earned All-America honors on day three of the NCAA Swimming Championships Friday night to lead Centennial Conference performances. 

On the women's side, Rotival earned her first All-America honor with a 12th-place finish in the 200 breaststroke at 1:03.70 during the finals session. She qualified for the finals with a 1:02.97 time in the morning prelims. 

On the men's side, Karpenko secured the fourth All-America honor of his career and first of the 2023 meet with a 15th-place finish in the 100 breaststroke. Karpenko touched in 54.99 during Friday's consolation finals.
