After a year-long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Centennial Conference women's indoor track & field teams return to competition this winter. Centennial indoor teams last competed at the 2020 CC Championship, just before the pandemic forced the cancellation of the NCAA Championship.

Johns Hopkins carries a 10-year CC winning streak into the 2021-22 campaign. At the 2020 CC Championship, the Blue Jays won nine of 19 events and totaled a conference-record 262.25 points to run away with the title.

Twelve individuals qualified for the 2020 NCAA Championship prior to its cancellation, including three that will be returning to compete this season - JHU's Annie Gutierrez, Ella Baran, and Julianna Lazzari.
