Johns Hopkins 3, McDaniel 0
The Johns Hopkins volleyball team rolled to its 10th straight win as the Blue Jays downed McDaniel in straight sets, 3-0, as they clinched at least a first round bye in the upcoming Centennial Conference tournament set to begin the first week of November. The Blue Jays won with set scores of 25-4, 25-10, 25-10. The Blue Jays improved to 20-4 on the season and have tied the program best nine conference wins with a 9-0 CC slate. The Green Terror fell to 0-24 on the season and 0-9 in the conference.

Franklin & Marshall 3, Gettysburg 0
Franklin & Marshall clinched a first-round bye in the Centennial Conference (CC) Tournament, and kept its hopes for the top seed alive with a convincing 3-0 over Gettysburg in volleyball action Wednesday night at Mayser Center.  With the win, the Diplomats improve to 17-10 (8-1 CC), while the Bullets fall to 18-9 (8-1 CC). The first set went back and forth, before F&M scored seven of the final nine points to take a 25-18 win.  Both teams had several chances to take the second set before the Diplomats finally prevailed 27-25.  F&M controlled the third set from start to finish, winning 25-11.

Haverford 3, Washington College 0
The Haverford College Fords won their third-straight contest en route to a 3-0 blanking of Washington College in Centennial Conference volleyball action Wednesday evening. Haverford (13-12, 6-4 CC) posted winning scores of 25-21, 25-23 and 26-24. The Fords scored the final four points in the third set to complete the shut-out over the host Shorewomen (15-12, 1-8).

Muhlenberg 3, Ursinus 1
To pay tribute to their three seniors, the underclassmen on the Muhlenberg volleyball team hung three banners on the walls of Memorial Hall for Senior Night. Muhlenberg made its Senior Night a festive one with a 3-1 win against Ursinus in not only its final home match, but also its final Centennial Conference match. The win enabled the Mules to end their CC campaign with a 5-5 record, a marked improvement from last year's 2-8.

Bryn Mawr 3, Dickinson 0
The Bryn Mawr College volleyball team closed out the 2011 season with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-22) win over visiting Dickinson College in Centennial Conference play Thursday night.  The Owls finish the year 10-16 overall and 4-6 in the Centennial Conference.  The Red Devils slip to 3-18 and 1-8. Dickinson travels to Lancaster on Saturday to face Franklin & Marshall and Lancaster Bible College.
