Washington College 3, Dickinson 1
Visiting Washington College bounced back after losing the first set to post a 20-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-18, win over host Dickinson College in a Centennial Conference volleyball match tonight in Carlisle, PA. With the win, the Shorewomen (12-9, 1-5 Centennial) snapped a 14-match losing streak to the Red Devils (3-15, 1-5).  Washington's win was its first over Dickinson since a five-set victory in 1998.  In fact, Washington's second-set triumph marked the first time the Shorewomen had won a set against the Red Devils since a 3-1 loss in 2005.

The Swarthmore volleyball team  made quick work of the visiting McDaniel Green Terror (0-21, 0-6 CC) on Saturday afternoon, winning in straight sets for the third consecutive match, 3-0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-17).  With the shutout victory, Swat hasn't given up a set since its tough five set loss to Gettysburg a week ago.
