Muhlenberg's Hubert and Swarthmore's Wallace Named Co-Players of the Week

Hubert averaged 6.55 assists and 2.36 digs per set while hitting .348 in a 3-0 week for the Mules. Serving as the primary setter for the entire match for the first time in her career, she recorded 44 assists in Muhlenberg's key 3-1 CC win at McDaniel. She also had five kills and 11 digs in the match. Splitting time at setter for two non-conference matches, she totaled 28 assists and seven service aces. In a 3-1 defeat of 2014 NCAA Tournament qualifier Hunter, she recorded five kills in only seven attempts.

Wallace helped lead the Garnet to a 4-0 weekend and the title at the Neumann Knights' Invitational. The outside hitter, who was named tournament MVP for the second consecutive weekend, hit .247 and averaged 4.60 kills and 2.40 digs per set. In Swarthmore's 3-1 win over Lebanon Valley, which was head coach Harleigh Chwastyk's 200th career victory, Wallace recorded a season-high 19 kills and nearly completed the double-double with nine digs.

Wallace averaged 4.15 kills and 2.85 digs per set, hit .438 in four matches, and was named the MVP of the Greensboro Invitational as the Garnet went 4-0 over the weekend. In Swarthmore's 3-0 sweep of Emory & Henry, she had a career-high .600 hitting percentage with 15 kills and no errors in 25 attempts. The sophomore also recorded double-doubles with digs and kills in wins over West Virginia Wesley and Oglethorpe.

Daunoras averaged 2.73 kills per set, 1.33 blocks per set and 1.07 digs per set, while hitting .466 in a 5-0 week for the Shorewomen. Daunoras, who was named the MVP of the DeSales Invitational, had a career-best seven assisted blocks and tied her career-high with seven blocks and added seven kills in a three-set win over Rutgers-Camden in the final match of the invitational on Saturday. Earlier in the day against host DeSales, she had 11 kills, seven digs and four blocks, while hitting .529. On Friday in a 3-0 win over Gwynedd Mercy, she hit .500 with nine kills and four total blocks, two solo and two assisted, while notching five digs. In a three-set win over Baruch later on Friday, she had seven kills and three blocks. On September 1st in a three-set win at Salisbury, the team's first in 21 years, she had seven kills as she hit .500 and had two blocks in the victory. Daunoras had 41 kills and just seven errors en route to her .466 hitting percentage.
