Johns Hopkins was selected to repeat as Centennial Conference champions in the 2018 volleyball preseason poll of conference coaches.
The Blue Jays earned nine first-place votes and a total of 99 points in the preseason poll. Finishing second with one first-place vote and 84 points was Swarthmore. Muhlenberg was third with 79 points, followed by Franklin & Marshall with one first-place vote and 75 points. Rounding out the top five with 67 points was McDaniel.
