COLLEGEVILLE, PA - In a rematch of the last two Centennial Conference Championship games, Johns Hopkins faced off against third-ranked Ursinus in Collegeville. The Blue Jays could not upset the home team, falling 5-1 to the four-time defending champion Bears. Hopkins, now 16-4 overall, will find out on Sunday night if it will play in the NCAA Tournament. Ursinus, now 17-2, earns the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAAs.

Megan Yoder put the Bears on top at 19.58, converting a pass from Jennie Moore. Less than five minutes later, Alyssa Thren collected a rebound off the pads of junior goalie Sophia Tieu (Cupertino, CA/Cupertino) to put Ursinus up 2-0.

Coming out of the half, Moore scored on a high shot, just 2:38 in to push the Bears' lead to three. Ursinus took a 4-0 advantage off a Katie Mastoris goal at 51:32 before Thren made it 5-0 at 66:03.

Senior Adair Landy (Montclair, NJ/Montclair) ended Erica Scott's bid at a shutout when she put home a pass from senior Leah Horton (Wayne, PA/Upper Merion Area), Hopkins all-time assist leader.

Tieu finished with a career-high and JHU Centennial Conference Tournament record 17 saves in the game. Scott made one save in the cage for Ursinus. Horton tallied three points on the weekend for the Blue Jays, giving her nine points in eight career Centennial Conference Tournament games, a school record.
