2014 OutlookFranklin & Marshall will contend for its first Centennial title since 2004, if the Diplomats can find a signal-caller and turn around the turnover margin ... the skill positions are loaded, while the defense should improve ... Offensive PreviewStarters Returning (6) The Diplomats averaged 31.5 points and 408.7 yards per game last season and returned six starters from that unit ... replacing two-time first-team All-CC QB E.J. Schneider is the first order of business, but whoever wins the job gets to throw to WR Jordan Zackery ... he caught 73 balls for 809 yards last season, while classmate Paul McGann pulled in 43 passes for 500 yards ... TE Jack Gallagher is also a big target ... senior Scott LaValva is the top returning ball carrier ... three starters are back on the O-line, headed by senior Frank Seitz and junior Ryan Ignatovig who both earned All-CC honorable mention in 2013. |
