Centennial Conference

Amber Thomas enters her third year as the Coordinator of Sports Administration and Championships at the Centennial Conference in 2022-23. She is actively involved in assisting in all aspects of conference operations with an emphasis on communications, social media, brand, and identity development utilizing the conference's website, awards, and special events, assisting with the running of the 24 conference championships, and general administration.

Prior to joining the Centennial, Thomas spent three years as the Assistant Director of Sports Information at Hiram College. In her role with the Terriers, she helped manage communications and event management efforts surrounding Hiram's 18 varsity sports including maintaining the athletics website and social media accounts, managing statistics, design of graphics and game programs, and writing press releases. In addition, she also served as the Co-Advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and Program Assistant for the Diversity and Inclusion Office’s Strive for Pi Peer Mentoring Program.

Thomas received her bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, before earning her master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in leadership and education from Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio.
