Johns Hopkins 5, Washington College 1
BALTIMORE, MD - Junior Alex Eliopoulos allowed just one unearned run in seven innings to lead the Johns Hopkins baseball team to a 5-1 victory over visiting Washington College in the first game of a home-and-away series with the Shoremen on Thursday afternoon at the JHU Baseball Diamond. Hopkins improves to 19-11 overall and 12-3 in the Centennial Conference, while the Shoremen drop to 16-15 overall and 7-8 in the conference and find themselves on the outside looking in at the CC playoff picture. Hopkins now sits alone at the top of the Centennial standings as Franklin & Marshall (19-13, 11-4 CC) dealt Haverford (26-6, 11-4 CC) a 6-3 loss on Thursday. The Blue Jays control their own destiny in determining the top seed in next weekend's conference tournament with just three conference games remaining.  Eliopoulos tossed his second strong outing in less than a week as he took a no-hitter into the top of the sixth frame, until freshman Ian Remington laid down a perfectly placed bunt down the third base line and outraced a one-hop throw by Eliopoulos to the bag at first for Washington's first hit of the day. The junior righthander held the Shoremen to just one unearned run on four hits while recording four strikeouts on the afternoon to improve to 6-2 on the year.

Franklin & Marshall 6, Haverford 3
LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall used a five-run seventh inning to defeat Haverford 6-3 in Centennial Conference (CC) baseball action Thursday afternoon.  The Diplomats moved into second place in the CC standings with three conference games left to play. Kevin Shields started the seventh off with a double down the left field line and took third on a wild pitch. Alex Vescera hit a single one batter later to plate Shields and tie the game at two apiece. Matt Will picked up a single and stole second giving F&M runners on second and third.  Will scored on a wild pitch a batter later to put the Diplomats ahead for good. Eric Bornstein's two RBI double to left put the Diplomats up 5-2 and Avery Attinson scored Bornstein with a single for the sixth run of the inning and a 6-2 F&M edge. The Fords (26-6, 11-4) scored an unearned run in the ninth before Evan Lang induced a double play to secure the 6-3 victory. Mike Duranti picked up the win with eight innings of work. Duranti (5-2) scattered five hits with four strikeouts and no earned runs. Jonny Williams took the loss for Haverford. Williams (6-2) gave up six earned runs in 6.2 innings.

Dickinson 10, Muhlenberg 5
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Dickinson College baseball team has enjoyed an exciting few days, and on Thursday set a school record with its 19th win of the season. Junior Sean White (Summit, N.J. / Salisbury School, CT) returned to the mound after his record-setting, 21 strikeout performance last Friday to earn the win. He recorded seven strikeouts in eight innings as the Devils topped Muhlenberg, 10-5. Tyler Rosa' went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs, adding a walk. Matt Tuneski went 3-for-5 and scored twice on the day while Garrett Horan (Providence, R.I. / Moses Brown) and Mike Schuster each tallied two hits. Jason Daniels suffered the loss for Muhlenberg (10-23, 7-8), despite recording 10 strikeouts in a complete game effort.

Gettysburg 6, McDaniel 2
GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Sophomore Ryan Taylor scattered 10 hits over eight innings while striking out 11 and Gettysburg jumped out to a quick start en route to a 6-2 victory over McDaniel College in a Centennial Conference baseball game Thursday afternoon at a sunny, windy Kirchhoff Field. The Bullets (10-20, 4-11 CC) scored five runs in the first inning to provide more than enough run support for Taylor (4-4), who left the game prior to the ninth inning after throwing 129 pitches. Taylor, who did not walk a batter for the third consecutive start, was coming off an impressive outing in which he retired the final 25 batters he faced in a 3-0 loss to Johns Hopkins on Friday. Though the sailing wasn’t as smooth against the Green Terror – he was without the benefit of a three-up, three-down inning – he consistently worked out of trouble and left 10 runners on base, including six that were in scoring position. With his 11 strikeouts, Taylor has now fanned at least 10 in four of his last five starts. He also broke into Gettysburg’s single-season top-10 list for strikeouts, moving into seventh with 70 Ks.
