GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Haverford College swept away the host
Bullets from Gettysburg College, 6-0 and 7-4, Saturday afternoon in
Centennial Conference baseball action, clinching no worse than the
No. 2 seed for the upcoming league tournament next weekend. The No.
29 Fords (29-6, 14-14 CC) set a program record for wins in a season
with Saturday's first win, then upped the new mark by one with the
second victory over the Bullets (11-22, 5-13).

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College baseball team (18-14,
9-9) remained alive in the hunt for the postseason on Saturday
afternoon, splitting a critical doubleheader with the Centennial
Conference rival Franklin & Marshall from F&M's Caplan
Field in the final regular-season Conference games of the
year. The Garnet's playoff hopes now hinge on the results of
Washington, Ursinus, and Muhlenberg's season-ending series, which
have been pushed back to Monday and Tuesday due to rain.
