Sohmer batted .500 on 9-for-18 hitting in four games last week, highlighted by a two-home run performance against Gettysburg on Saturday with one of them being a grand slam. Over the course of the week, Sohmer scored four runs and drove in eight to spark the offense of a Haverford team that went 4-0.
Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Sam Kasten, Sophomore, Muhlenberg

Kasten pitched a nine-inning complete-game four-hitter to beat nationally ranked Johns Hopkins in the second game of a doubleheader. He needed just 73 pitches in the gem and allowed only one runner past second base. He struck out three - all in a row in the second inning - and had five 1-2-3 innings against the Blue Jays, who averaged just under seven runs per game in the CC.
